Thanks everyone for those kind comments. It means a lot to me. :)

And Don, I want to see some slippies up on that website of yours. Those knives of yours are fantastic, now let's get a few that we might get in our pocket! I personally would love one with forged blades!

I thought I had it good when I received my Soddie. A TB showed up on my doorstep my head would have exploded.

Soon after, the police would have showed up to take me off due to the big kiss I planted squarely on the mail lady's lips.

Congrats......

Well, that's a pretty darn prescient post tarmix, since this is a quote from Tony's note that accompanied the knife:

"I thought I better make this before you explode..."

So, I guess I'm pretty transparent. :p

You made me go to the dictionary. I had no idea what "prescient" meant:o

http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/prescient

BTW..... what are the dimensions on that little beauty?

Don't worry, I don't know what it means either. Just tryin' to sound edumucated and what not. :p

Stats:

4 1/8" Closed Length
3.25" Blade Length (Tip to Bolster)
CPM S60V (440V) Blade Steel
3 1/8 oz.

The knife feels a lot lighter than the 3 1/8 oz. due to the balance. It has an incredibly light feel.

A cool story...and an awesome knife.

Thanks for sharing both.

Bill

Tony is a :D maker too. I bet you have a big one now.

Good for you! Great knife! At first I thought, with everything aligned and going for you in those moments, buy a lottery ticket. Then I realized, it would probably just be anti-climatic after that. Ya already won!

Hey, when ya get bored you can buy up a bunch of cheap, used paperbacks and sit around trimming them.

A great story and a great knife...I almost felt like the truck was pulling into my drive:D

That's a feeling I'd sure like to be able to bottle and experience on demand.

Thanks for all the great feedback. I know it sure makes me feel good and I can't help but think it's pretty gratifying to Tony as well.

Elliott,
I just wanted to drag this one up & say,"You know you're a lucky guy ?"
This 4" size BP is real nice. Happy 4th !
