Some Double Snouted Game Warden Goodness

You know I read that about a year ago for about the third time and much to my girlfriend's disgust (PhD English) I don’t see the big deal. Of course it may have to do with not being able to recognize a metaphor if it bit me on the azz.

Other great stories are the ones included in the book that contained “A River Runs Through It” and some Stephen King … “Apt Pupil” “Shaw shank Redemption” and “The Green Mile”

It doesn't get much better than "The Old Man and the Sea."

Sparse, powerful, mythical, insightful.

Of course, I'd just like to catch a giant marlin in my kayak. :D :p

Guyon... or anyone else.

Is "Anna Karenina" by Tolstoy worth the time it will take to read it, it is about 850 pages:eek:?

Honestly? No.

I've read it...it is interesting...but the time would have been better spent elsewhere.

Tolstoy often wraps himself...around himself!
