Some Expensive items...

I was into that high-end audiophile stuff once. Its all just common sense and reason. On the test bench, a computer analysis will say that the $1500 connects are far supurior to the $30 connects but what does your ears tell you. Unless you where born with a ear defect letting you hear like a $6500 microphone and you can distinguish the difference like a $4000 computer then your just wasting your money.

Up the airy mountain, down the rushing glen, we dare not go a hunting, for fear of little men!

Nice thread going here! I tried the audioquest wires I had going out to my mains and center channel, had one part of the bi-wire using the Type4 Audioquest and the other part 12ga wire, replaced the Type4 and then I thought I heard the center channel sound a little boxy, so I made two runs of the Type4 for the center channel and tried that, and switched back to both 12ga and didn't hear much of a difference, except before I had different connectors for the 12ga, now they are in banana plugs and it sounds great...go figure!

ps
Gotta get me some of that Air, maybe I'll see you at the next Air show? (always thought that would make a great Gary Larsen FarSide cartoon, the guy walking along looking at jars of air from various countries and cities...lol ) ;)

Got any more brilliant ideas there Cougar? Well keep 'em to yourself!

I sold my first consignment of Audiophile Air yesterday. $350,000 worth. Can you believe it?

Just when I was thinking, "Bladeshow's gonna be good this year...," my lawyer called this morning. It seems the widow is suing me for wrongfull death.

I figured that if oxygen-free was good for the cables, it would be good for the air too. Who knew?

My lawyer says we'll claim that at least he died happy knowing that he had, at long last, achieved his life-long goal of the perfect sound system.

I am pleased to announce, though, that thanks to new research provided to us by the plaintiff's attorney, the research scientists here at Harold Hill Labs have reformulated our Audiophile Air Product. Version 2.0 eliminates even more sonic (and respiratory) distresses. Customers of 1.0 can download an upgrade from our website for free.

Operators are standing by to take your call. Order now... I need the money.

Got the cable today/tonight, very nicely made cable, it's a Proflex PFT 6V, looking at the inside, you find a very precise connection on both ends, extremely well put together cable and it does sound fine as well, late night tonight, dinner with the wife for "V" day ;) Just got home a few minutes ago, will do some comparisons tomorrow, but for now, it does a very good job, thanks again to MikeD60, much appreciated sir!
