Some full tang hawks coming down the pipe!

Here is the progress up til now. I don't have pics of every step, but you will get the idea anyway.

I picked up the blanks from being laser cut a couple days ago. Now I just need my huge box of belts for my grinder to get here, and then sparks will be flying! :D

Here I am tapping the holes in the handles for the handle screws.

Cleaning up the profile on a Perigrine. Laser scale is a bear to grind off!

I was able to get a couple of them rough ground this evening. They will be getting a bevel on the top of the spike as well.

I was able to get some of the spikes ground in today.

That little hawk looks awesome would be a great choice for my urban bugout bag I am sure that little guy could smash anything that gets in my way.

Thanks guys. I am going to be heat treating a few today.

I have the week off from my day job, so I was able to squeeze in some heat treating this morning!

Hot steel!!

They look awesome Ben. What do you have coming up in the way of a French spike hawk?

Very nice! Whats the cutting length of the head on those perigrines?

Thanks! The cutting edge is 2 7/8".

Not right now, I have to many projects in the works right now to start a new one!! : )

I just finished the Prototype up tonight. The green one is totally done, the Nat canvas one still needs the scales epoxied on.

Ben these Tomahawks look amazing, it was great to see from start to finish, thanks for sharing these.

looking good! I also favor a flat poll, but the designs still great. What will you finish the handles with? and how is shock with finished product?

My thoughts... and i recognize they are overwhelmingly irrelevant... I would really like if the smaller hawk had a longer spike. I also think the beard on the larger hawk would be a bit more useful if it had a pointed rather than flat bottom

other than that, these designs are AMAZING

Thanks for the input guys. I know these won't be for everyone, but what is. :)
Here are a couple more finished pics of the Proto.
