I have been lurking around this forum for a while trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can. As a very novice maker of knife shaped objects I am trying to learn from the best makers I can. That is why I will be at the 2012 Knife Exposition that the American Bladesmith Society is having in San Antonio Jan 27-29. On Friday of the event there will be several seminars that might be able to answer some questions you may have and probably cause you to ask questions you have not thought of yet! The list of exibitors is pretty amazing. This is an all forged blade show with many ABS Master Bladesmiths. I think some of these guys can give good advice!
