Just came in, going to take it to the Adirondacks tomorrow to beat it up!

congratulations! despite how different this one is from every other Busse, it's still a great first because the TG is simply great.
 
That is the best looking TGLB I have seen. Can you order it with the CF? What is the up charge for the CF?

The CF was at no extra cost, all I had to do was request it!!! man it feels quite nice in hand, ill find out how it chops and batons tomorrow!

Thanks for the pics!! I placed my order earlier today and now know it'll look great. I can confirm there was no difference in price for the competition finish.
 
Wait a minute...when did the competition finish come into the picture? I had asked about finishes and was told only coated blades were available...

Or is that a coating?

I'd love to learn more about it because it looks really nice. Can't wait to see the "beat up" pics.

Ok....Again....Let's review.....It's threads like this that make Solstice CC bill go through the roof and increase my work hours. Please! Let's try and keep them to a mininum.

Now with that said.................Damn! That is one smooth finish under the coat! Nice look and job bro, Congrats. Just might have to pick me up one of them.......

if i had known this was possible, i would have had all my new blades made with this finish

now i'm committed to the black coating with Blue/Black G10... there's no turning back now!
 
I'm confused about what exactly a CF finish is...is it the same as double cut? Or is it the rough finish prior to powder coating? Oh wise one's, would you please give up some knowledge?
 
It is similar to double cut but not totally smoothed out. As I understand, it is bead blasted but most of the dimples and imperfections are left.
