"Some" knives you have? Good lord, I hope you have in your employ, an armed guard to watch over them thar babies. Nice bunch for sure.

I guess now I can ask what I have been curious about from the beginning...do you

"have" these knives available for sale;
"have" these knives in your personal collection; or
are these knives both?
 
very nice collection, the only sad part about these types of high end/high priced knives are the fact that 95% of them will never be used

of course I understand that high end collections like these are 'display only', but it makes me realize how much wasted potential is involved

I will list them here. You can contact me, directly, as well. I put some on ebay. I have more than what has been pictured. Most of my blades are unused, if there are any defects from age, handling, etc, I try to get good pictures, sometimes TOO good! Dust shows up that you can't see with your eyes...well, my eyes. Thanks

Probably, 80% of the knives shown on this site will never be used. We have a wealth of knives which far exceeds any practical need. The knives shown on the OP are art and they are best enjoyed that way.

of course, I see your point also... but personally I still maintain the point: full beauty can't be appreciated without doing more than just looking... think of women ; ) same rules apply imho

or, put another way, if you're only going to look at it, a picture is basically able to serve the same purpose... personally I'd rather have more than a pic

or, a car... what good is owning a porsche 911 if it's only ever collecting dust in a garage?

In museum you will see many things that you can't even touch, but people still like to look at them. sometimes an item can be history , art or historical art.

You don't necessarily need to baton with this knife to feel its design and art.
