Some Military Schrade Waldens and an old 7414W

G'day, A few of the Schrade Waldens made for a specific Military use,an old Schrade Cut Co Safety Push Button and a Timber Scribe......

1.Obtained from Vietnam after the war a Schrade Walden MIL-K-25549 = MC-1 auto opening Pilot/Paratroop knife with rear shroud cutter.
2. Schrade Walden Fixed blade shroud Cutter
3. Schrade Walden floating life raft knife with blade shaped so as not to cut the life raft.
4.No 7414W Schrade Cut Co WALDEN N.Y. 3 3/8" Safety Push Button Knife,2 blades with ivory Celluloid handle,brass linings,large blade crocus polished on one side<page 53 Catalog E>..Tang stamped US PATS. FEB13 06

I like the timber scribe. Extra nice. I've never seen Schrade one before. When was the scribe offered? Was it SFO?
 
Bringing this thread up for Level Headed....showing the Paratrooper MC-1....Schrade Walden stampings from 1946 to 1972/73 so not WW11...I obtained mine from Vietnam and because we can't talk values of knives here...I will say I paid $75 when I originally purchased mine from Vietnam and not a whole lot has changed..obviously the knife remained in Vietnam after the war....Hoo Roo

I appreciate it, thank you Larry. i don't know if you noticed in the pictures i posted, but the button to release the blade is missing. is it possible to get this knife fixed?

Richard...was one of these Military knives the one you referred to without photos to give us a hint?......reading other threads besides your own can often supply your answers....all the best....at least we tried to help..Hoo Roo
