Achim Wirtz has been recently posting some stuff on the Makers for sale forum. Does neotribal type wares and I have bought a couple of pieces. He is in Germany and I was a little worried about the across the water thing but it was unfounded. Quick Email responses, Super fast shipping, and pleasent exchanges. If you were worried about buying from him because of his location ... DONT Worry!
mb He decided he would like the Lightfoot Sierra I had up for sale. We were going to do the exchange by mail then I realized we both work in Manhattan so why not do it in person. We met for lunch, shot the breeze for an hour at the Stage deli paid in cash and even insisted on leaving the tip!
sandman3 Ok I know this is for the bladeforums For sale but I have to include this ebay seller. I play there from time to time and I have heard some really negative things on the forums. This man is an absolute stand up guy. I had the stag scales on a recent purchase begin to split. I wrote him hoping he could give me contact info for the maker. He insisted I send it back to him and he would handle it. In less than a week it was repaired. I believe he is a business and not Joe Blow but I thought on Ebay once you bought it .... its your problem. Glad he proved me wrong. Super fast replies to email, pleasent guy and fast shipping.
Ryan Meyering Ive done business with him at least twice. Another no BS kinda guy. He asks his questions, decides and sends an MO.No five day waits between emails. Definitely one to trust !!
Bruce Evans Bruce is an up and coming maker who really aims to please. What a damn pleasent guy to. Talking to bruce on the phone you might swear you know one another. He endeavors to create just what you want and will make good if its not. Dont hesitate.
Ricky Fowler A workman like maker that gets what you want done incredibly quickly. I have done only specialty pieces with him. My designs, and the longest Ive waited from confirmation to delivery is 2.5 weeks !!!!
Opps almost forgot one
Bladeart Wow talk about a great dealer experience. I ordered a Wilkens from them and upon recieving it realized I just didnt like it. Nothing wrong physically, I just didnt like it. I immedialty packed it back up and called them. I really didnt think they would take it back. Not only did they take it back no questions asked but got me to my specifications a Dale Rief Atrox fixed blade in D2 with Ironwood scales. Got the knife for me in a timely fashion and did a DIRECT trade. Outstanding!!
