Some more ZT 0301 review information...

I got the 302 coming, damnit I have to wait for Christmas before handling the monster, I got mine from bladeart, darkestthicket got one hell of a deal.

Just received mine yesterday. Has to be the best knife I have purchased. I think I'm going to order a 200 just because.

DT,

Nice review. I happen to like big folders with big blades, which is why I also have a ZT 0301 along with my Strider GB. Believe it or not, both are my EDC, and I just feel naked carrying one without the other.

My ZT is my fine cutting knife, my Strider is for my "heavy-duty" work.

Probably get a prybaby next....

Anyway, thanks again!

Guys, I got my 302 yesterday, man what a sweet blade, razor sharp, attention to detail is FLAWLESS, the AO is friggin sweet, and very simple. This knife is built like a tank, I love it, It fits my hand perfectly.
Sad to say though, once I checked it out I got in trouble, has to be under that damn tree for a couple days before I see it again.

HAHAAHAHAH busted! I bet it was worth getting in trouble though!

Pun, damn man, your pockets must be busting carrying 2 edc's that big, how do you carry them? front right and front left pocket? i usually carry just one, right now the ZT and a sog powerplier in my jacket. Zt gets FR pocket of course.

DT,

I wear bigger pants than usual! :D

Seriously though, I carry a bag, so I keep one in my bag or my thermite versipack. Frankly, though, I feel naked if I left either one at home, so I carry both. My ZT 0301 is my cutter, the Strider GB serves as my piercer. Strider GB gets the nod for the front right pocket most of the time, though.

My daily carry gear:

-ZT 0301 -NightOps Falcata 6V
-Strider GB -Gerber Fat Boy
-Leatherman Wave -Para P-14.45

This is aside from my laptop, keys, wallet, id's, etc.

:D:D:D

DAMMMN! thats a lot of hardware. i do well to get keys, id, wallet, chapstick, ZT, prybaby, lighter and smokes in my pockets. lol.

some nice choices btw!

what do you do for a living? just curious! id say something interesting for sure
!

I work for the Philippine equivalent of the FBI, the NATIONAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION (NBI) and I actually investigate cases and am a sworn law enforcement officer.

Not a lot of people are into knives and stuff like I am, probably because it costs so much to get them here and we're really just starting to have a "tactically"-oriented outlook here. Most agents I know are more into guns than knives. I guess you could say I'm more the exception than the rule.

damn, i have to say i envy your job. lol!

We can trade places if you want. :D:D:D

Yeah, my job has its ups and downs, but I love it. And not to sound like I'm trying to impress anybody, I just like helping people out and standing up for the down-trodden. Our division is tasked with investigating sexual abuse cases, especially those of minors, so we do have our days.

But seriously, though, I wouldn't trade my job/profession for anything in the world....well.....maybe except yours!:D:D:D

my job is pretty boring, Supervisor for an Insurance Company. sad isnt it?

No way, bro! I worked in insurance too, and I know that it can get pretty exciting. Actually, I've worn many hats, including being a U.S. Marine from 1991 to 1994.

Anyway, gotta go to work now. Thanks for the nice responses and kind words!

Happy Holidays to you and your family, and always take care of yourselves! :D:thumbup:
