Some new gear

After reading about the silky saw las week I ordered the 13 inch mode ane it came yesrerday. I was also shopping at Sportsman's warehouse and after watching the destruction test of the CS GI Tanto, I picked up one of those. A lot of Knife for 22.00. I picked up the Kershaw avalanche that I passed up a couple weeks ago, Its the s60v steel and was on clearance for 49.00. The fourth is a Duct Knife that I picked up at Home Depot. Its a double edge, one side serrated knife with a 6 inch blade. Great grip. It just marked Hardened SS. I though it might make a good knock around BOB knife. It was a good day.

I will try it out tomorrow. I have a bunch of future walking sticks that need cut off to the right length. Some are hard and dry and some are green. Should be a good try out for it. I couldn't believe the torture that The GI Tanto took in that destruction test. It should be a no fear out in the boonies knife.
