well ladies and gentlemen,
wanted to share a couple pieces of steel with ya. was out setting some minnow traps and thought i'd snap a few shots for ya'll.
The Breeden Bushcrafter hasn't got much use at all under it. got it in a trade with a fellow BF'er. hair splitting sharp and with a dangler added on by the previous owner (JNieporte.) probably nothing new about it to you boys but it's going to be a workhorse for me. i will get some action shots over the weekend hopefully.
The other piece of steel is a BF knifemaker Bruce Culberson out of BC Canada. This guys work is second to none. and let me tell you he could not be any greater a guy to deal with. he's a hobby maker for now but this guy is going places. this knife is perfect for me. Pure and simple my perfect FB. it's my current workhorse and will continue to be for a long time. Also Bruce is a hunter and outdoorsman as i understand it (i know he just got back from bear huntin' in BC) so these knives are made by "us" for "us". can't beat that.
i added a pic that bruce took of my necker/firesteel setup that's on its way to me to go along with my FB. and i can't wait to get my hands on this setup. you'll understand when you see it.
we have also been discussing some futur projects of different kinds and i will keep you posted on those as well. i apologize for the crappy pics, i'm not on top of this photography thing yet.
The gear is a snugpak sleeka force 35 pack. Maxpedition Monkey admin pouch (med kit and survival skit.) and a Maxpedition 10x4 that i just picked up and needs to other intros here.
here are some pics! one of the area i was in just for fun.

Well you are a man true to your word Goatariba, that knife is sporting a good patina already:thumbup:!
Nice swamp......are the moskitoes out yet? I worked one summer in Manitiwage tree planting - got eaten alive - some of the worst bugs I've ever seen!
Bruce

Great pics, nice blades. I just saw Bruce's work for the first time a few minutes ago in the for sale section. Nice work there Bruce. I love that necker with the firesteel. Good Stuff

oh ya moquitoes are definetly up and moving now. had a good wind off the water that kept them off me while i set all my traps...I never did the tree planting thing, lotsa buddies that did though, they said it was hellish out there.

I like porn and refuse to see anything wrong with it! This load of booty is very appealing...really practical no nonsense knives thanks.

Bryan i love it, it is right up my alley. i'll be getting some miles under it in the next short while and i'll post a review. i'll fire you the link when i do.
this is my first experience with a dangler surprisingly i'm anxious to find out how big a fan i will be after some serious hours and weeks with one as a workhorse. i know this was a post-buy addition, but do you have danglers as an option with your sheaths?

no nonsense knives are all i have time for! i like anything that's straight to the point. bells and whistles aren't for me.

Hi Goatariba I sure do just I made this one a few weeks back for a customer who wanted one like this. You can take off the exstention if you want and just wear the knife and sheath like normal.

Looks great bryan. i've been eyeing up your knives for a long while now i was very excited to get this one in a trade. we may be talking again in the near futur about more work.

Here in Finland we opt for the dangler pattern a lot. I find it very useful indeed:safe secure hold, easy draw and very good when you sit down or drive the car,no painful jab in the ribs!

goatariba, Thanks on the sheath, Yea if I can help you out with a knife just let me know.
