Some new sheath work!!!

That's one special sheath. Very nice attention to detail.:thumbup:

Very impressive to say the least! Does the lock mechanism automatically move out of the way when you draw the knife or do you have to manually pull it back?

Hey Bro, No all you have to do is use your finger and pivot it down. It moves with minimal effort. I have already figured out doing it in mostly one motion. As you unsnap the retention strap just sweep the hand across the face of the sheath and the lock will pivot out. Sweet set up indeed!!!

Beautiful sheath. The end grain on the leather looks like highly figured wood and good match for the handles. Very unique mechanical locking mechanism and always been a big fan of a crossdraw setup.

Clean and Functional...WOW...Outstanding work...congrats!!!

You said that you can get it to unlock with on emotion, but does it relock by itself when you put the blade back in or do you need to swing the lever?
looks sweet.

D, no there is not a auto lock function. Wouldn't won't it anyway. If I'm messing around a camp site I can use and return the knife to sheath without messing with the lock. This sheath is so simple to pivot the lock and the retention strap with one hand it's amazing.

Very innovative, I don't know if I've seen a locking mechanism in leather before. I really dig the web stitching
too.

:thumbup:Nice sheath Russ! Your Boss Jack looks great in it:)

Yes Sir, that's what I was thinking when we started talking sheaths. The stream line design of the B Jack I thought was perfect for this application. Outside of the fact I love that knife. The B Jack I thought was a little to thin at first but then the more I handled it the more I liked it. I has now become the one that I want with me most of the time for a GP sheath knife, so I needed some great pants and I got them;)

Very nice, bro! I agree with Dwayne that it is pretty rare to see someone doing something "new" with sheaths.

Thanks for sharing...
