Also got a coldsteel trail hawk that Im going to be trying out today. :D:thumbup:

As to the leek. I freggin love that thing. its a great little knife, fits in my hand well, that flipper on the back is awsome aswell. Over all its a great knife and Im almost contiplating collecting folders now.

Very nice kit Fonly. Do they make the Leek without serrations?

I collected folders for many years and it's very addictive, no doubt about it. Although, most of mine were over 50 years old.

Like btuner said yes, I chose this because Its also a work knife, and being in a warehouse, I wanted something small, one handed and that cuts like the devil. I had a Gerber multitool I used, moreless a beater, and the serrated edge was awsome for cutting that nylon strapping but I got sick of opening it up and closing it all the time. So I was going to get a spyderco, though the store I go to only had a few, like the endura and a few others but I got looking at them and I dont like the plastic handles, in fact I hate them. A major turn off.

I have the X1 as well and think it's a great light. Mine stopped working after about 2 months. Seems unusual from all the positive things I read on another forum. Took it back to Target for a replacement no probs.

Yeah I found it to be blinding bright, great little light. And plus the AA's for it I can get cheap.

Fantastic EDC light, tomorow I want to get a pick up of my Leek, somehow the handle got some serious scratchs, I suspect foul play:mad:

Did you get the trail hawk for throwing, or just a general purpose camp/hike hatchet?
I use my rifleman hawk mostly for throwing, but do camp with it as well. the most fun for 20$.

Camp hatchet, I actually cut it down and sanded the head. Its my mini fix, I saw a wetterlings and it was the cutest little thing I've seen in a while:cool::D

So yeah, general uses, I dont think it would throw well now.:D
