I figured I would show off some new knives I aquired in trade recently from good members here.

I haven't done much if anything with these blades yet as I haven't had the time lately. They are all itching for some use though.

Very comfortable in hand, but I don't have big hands. Came razor sharp and would make a great whitler.

This one is a serious blade. Extremely substantial in hand. Scales are by Lone Lyder Grips. He did a great job!

Got this beauty from DJJ. The handle work is outstanding. Very fat and extremely comfortable. No gaps and completely smooth. Check out the firesteel he did as well as the awesome leather.

Is that the Helle Fjellkniv? Mind if I ask how the fit/finish was on that particular one? Looks like you got a very nice piece of wood for the handle, thats for sure!

Yes thats the one. Over all fit and finish is good. The blade has a high polish and is extremely sharp. The wood handle is very well done and yes its a fine piece of wood. There are small gaps where the cap meets the wood and where the tang goes into the cap; but nothing I am worried about.
The sheath holds the k nife secure and appears to be well made. For a production knife well under a $100, I find it to be over all very good.

Wow, you made out well Tony, that's a great looking trio. I have the FK H1 with custom grips, it's one of those blade designs that just works, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Great score on those ... I like the last one pictured with the matching firesteel alot

Geez! How do you chose which one to use :D They are all nice!

Great stuff Tony.

Tony,

Those are awesome!!! I love Helle's stuff. Every time I go to Ragnar's site, I start thinking I need about another couple thousand dollars of knives (cause a man can't have enough)........

Thanks Fellas:thumbup:

That is a problem that will huant us all for the rest of our lives:)

Dude - they are all hot - but I may have to pick up that Helle! Who did the handle for you? That thing is HOT!

NICE snag!

TF

Hey TF, thanks.

The handle on the Helle is how it comes by Helle.

The H1 with the Orange Handle is done by Lone Ryder Grips

The Enzo with the dyed Curley Birch is Done by DJJ

You aint kidding. I just was recently bitten by the Scandi Bug, There are a bunch on my list to check out. Unfortunately money is tight, so I will have to trade knives to get what I want. I let some great ones go to aquire these.

Greg at Lone Rider Grips does some fantastic scale work, checkout his website sometime. If you're a handgun fanatic fa'gett'aboutit!

Brian Andrews, nice new avatar there, great family picture to pass on when that little one graduates from college!

Tonym I think you need to post a few collection pics...you just keep throwing awesome knives up on this board... :D

Tony - I would love a full write up or atleast measurements on that helle - it looks like a damned good facsimile of the Woodslore.

Can you helpa brotha?

TF
