i found a couple - 5 or 6 semi finished (ie, cut out and ground ready for heat treat) O1 knives in my basement as i am packing things up for a move. I no longer have the ability to heat treat knives, can anyone here recommend a heat treater for me?

thanks!!

i hear Texas knives does it. but I'm pretty much a newb so you may want to wait for someone else to chime in

find a friend with a ceramics kiln. the proper HT for O1 is to heat to 1500 and hold for 15-30 minutes, then ramp up to 1550 and quench in a slow oil. ( parks AAA / Houghten 28 sec oil, vet -food grade Mineral oil.)

good idea of course, but i dont know anyone with a kiln. Anyone here willing to do it for a price?
