• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Cool, do you have more info on the second one? Did a google search and the only thing that pops up is this post.

@Shotgun: I got this off ebay and it was toted as a Norwegian fire fighter hatchet. On the handle it says

Brødrene Øyo A/S
Geilo - Norway

and on the off side of the handle:

500 Volt
Godkjent av NVE (approved by NVE)

It is a sweet piece. I got it to replace my Pinzgauer truck crash axe, that I sold to an ex-THW guy who had one on duty and wanted it as a keepsake:

The Øyo is lighter, sharper, and also insulated. It doesn't have the gimmicks, but I can live without them, especially since the Øyo is much more balanced. It also has a heavy duty black leather sheath.

And for around 30€ it has to be the cheapest "tactical" axe out there. For that price you could easily mod it to your taste: more acute edge or sharpened beard or shortened spike, you name it.

Strangely, the model I have is not listed on their website.
