Hy y'all, just wanted to show off a few of my knives. Everything you see is 100% made in house by myself, by hand (read: no CNC except for the knuckles). I take pride in my work, so if you have to flame me do it gently pl0x.
First up, the Chigger: 2 inch blade "kiradashi" made from 6AL4V Titanium. Meant as a letter opener/light EDC blade, I know Ti doesn't hold the greatest edge but this thing is a razor right now. Just sold it too ^^
Grind is chisel convex, then anodized via heat.
Next is my T-Razor (Tanto/Razor), again 6AL4V Ti, flat chisel ground and stropped to a razor edge. I can shave with this one, and have done it before. I made a couple like this, and keep one around in the kitchen. It's dead useful as a kitchen knife, food safe, lightweight and very controllable.
Next is an earlier "concept knife" which isn't even really a knife. This is my Spear-in-a-box, basically a small dagger point spearhead meant to be lashed onto the end of a stick in a survival situation as a last ditch weapon. Again, 6AL4V Ti, I anodized and drilled it by hand. I chose Ti not only because I have tons of it around, but because it's lightweight and rustproof... and pretty much indestructible.
Next is a small Ti skinning knife I made a couple weeks back. This is convex chisel ground and stropped to a razor edge. I later wrapped it with a japanese ray skin/cord wrap, but this allows you to see what it looks like under the wrap. Grind isn't perfect by any means, this is a crap knife basically.
Next is a small Scal-to (Scalpel Tanto) I made for my dad. This is a precision cutter, brought to a razor edge meant to be the smallest, lightest weight neck knife I could possibly make. More Ti of course...
And lastly, for today anyway is my custom modded Benchmade 630. If you can't tell already, I work a lot with titanium. I made a new titanium pocket clip, then drilled and anodized the scales. Blade was then finished with 800 grit sandpaper to look more custom. This knife came to me in really beat up condition; I bought it from Wicked Sharp who described it as in "New" condition, but it was basically a user complete with chips in the extremely dull blade, scratches all over and a good bit of the anodizing on the scale rubbed off. I had to totally make over the blade and right now, it's a work of art if I do say so myself. I also rounded over the spine of the blade and did a little bit of organic file work for added grip.
Thanks for looking, let me know what you think! BTW if you see anything you want, I'll be happy to sell my wares to you or make you something specific.
