He sure split that madrona (arbutus) tree with that Wolf Pup :D

I've spent some time in that part of the world and it is a beautiful place. He's a lucky dog

Here are my main users. Left to right: Reground/refinished CS Trailhawk, Small homemade neck knife, Homemade antler handled knife, GB Hunters Axe.

Thanks, pitdog. I made them actually. My first attempts. They turned out to be good working knives. Not the best looking... I wanted them to look like those hidden treasures you'd find in your grandfathers attic. I was inspired by the simplicity of the Granfors Bruks axes. I like the unpolished, raw look. Here's an up close pic.

great looking knives for a first attempt.....  i really like that antler handled knife........

That Antler knife is great, it would make a great talking point on display in the house !!!

Can I get an ID on that? I was guessing HI or Khukuri House, but I the sheath looks wrong, and I can't find anything similar from either company after a medium-depth search.

Sure, Tohatchi. Your guess was close, it's a Tora Bushcraft. I'm diggin' it so far.

Heres some new pics guys, I've gotten a few new ones, so I thought I'd add them up here...I got 2 Fallknivens, an F1 and A1, I like them both alot..very nice knives. I just got a EKA, this little knife really suprised me..I find myself handling it alot..nice knife, for a good price. I also have a pic of my Kukri, very cool, and if you look, you can see I modified the handle to make it more comfortable...no rough spots at all. And, up front and center, my new Aurora from BRKT...I love this knife...it took the place of the Bravo1 right as I took it outta the box..its slightly thinner, but still has enough meat to be tough. The overall feel is fantastic, a real american answer to the British bushknife problem (Money and availability) I highly recomend this knife, I will be beating on it all weekend. I also took a closeup of my Jefferson Spivey, Sabertooth, a knife that at first glance looks almost like a fantasy knife...I know some of you have heard me say it before...I really like this knife, it does everything its supposed to do very well. I touched the edge on some emory and a strop...it is scary sharp, and retains the edge as well as anything. I think they are a little overpriced at $275, considering the overall quality, but if you can get one used ever...do it, you wont regret it. Enjoy the pics....and before anyone says anything...I am aware of my knifebuyaholism, so please, its a touchy subject with me..go easy, Gene:D

Wheeew!....that pic of all your Kukri's, Jimmy...I feel alot better about getting "hooked" on one thing or another. Nice collection, I need to trade you outta a couple, we don't want your floor to collapse under the weight.:D
