Hello Bladeforums, I'm new to the site and new to knife making. Im 21 and just graduated so i have a bit of free time before going into the buisness world:) I've been messing around with making knives for about a month now and here are some of my knives I've been working on.
Let me know what you think and any recommendations would be really appreciated!
Thanks,
Luke

Small Neck Knife (In the works)

Welcome to Shop Talk.

The knives look pretty good. I like that you made the line of the spine a smooth curve from butt to tip. That is a good feature often not done well on a first knife. The handle is simple and comfortable looking, kudos there, too.

About the only suggestion for the next knife would be to make the blade edge a bit more of a smooth curve. The somewhat blunt belly on these will cut and look better that way. At the same time, drop the tip a bit more. These two small things will make a nice knife like yours look very professional. Look at this photo of a Bob Loveless drop point hunter and you will see what I am saying.

Very nice work. Looks pretty refined for someone just starting out.

That small neck knife is so awesome! It is perfectly proportioned!

Wow great for knife. My first knife (grandpa helped me to make it) was much worst than this.
