Some of my knives

Hi, here's a set i've been working on lately. Small ones are made of N690 steel (58hrc), stainless steel, brass and stabilised wood. Blades are 4,5mm thick and about 130mm long, handles are 130mm long. I finished the small ones just yesterday.

Sheaths. What do you think of it? They can be joined together with a piece of paracord.

Hi, here's another Lazarus (3). Ingerdients: NZ4 (A8mod) steel (7mm), stainless steel and denya wood. Blade lenght: 283mm, overall lenght: 427mm.
What do you think of it?

your knives have a nice style. I like the shape of the handle very much (I have made one or two quite similar, and I like that style, I am sure I will make more as time permits). The blades look aggressive, and they should be really good choppers (the big ones).
I like the overall style. If it was me, I would add hamons or pattern welding, just to refine the blade farther. Not that you should (or should not). I mean, they would look even cooler with a nice hamon or a random Damascus pattern. Big choppers like that just scream for about 300 layers random.

great work.

Thanks for the advice and suggestions - I will probably never make knife of damascus steel (I simply don't like it very much, and I don't know why), but I'm seriously considering to make hamon or at least differential heat treatment. I agree that it would spice up those blades.

And here's my contribution to "Jim Bowie Project". Curated by Tashi Bharucha for The Unnamed Society. I made them about 2 years ago:

I used a8mod steel and various materials for the handles - stainless steel, ironwood, bronze, micarta, stabilized leather.
Thanks for watching:)
