Its been awhile since I've posted anything here so I thought I'd post up some pics of recent work here. I'll add several knivescto this thread rather than make new threads for every knife.

From back in June:

Carved, sculpted and textured African blackwood handle
Claude Scott sheath
Great pic from Coop

Thanks guys. I really do appreciate the feedback.

some beautiful knives ... the fine detail is exceptional ... I love the size of your hunters too!

The THING about John's work is how simply he uses styling: Traditional lines and smart curves. NOTHING gregarious.

However, it's the attention to CRISP detail that makes you draw it in another two inches closer and go "Ahhhhhhh!"

Keep it up!

John, I LOVE your work! Having seen them allready on Instagram, the attention to detail is amazing, thery are pure understatement, there is never going on too much. My favorite the first one with the textured handle.

Man, they are all fantastic! I especially love #1 and the folder in #14. Incredible work. Keep 'em coming!

Man those are clean, classy, and classic! They're all beautiful, but If I had to choose a favorite, I think it'd be the Ironwood fighter in post #13. The clay-less hamon on that thing is smokin' and it has a beautiful flow all around. I also like the "pinch" in the wood's grain on its right side, it adds some neat character and extra interest imho.

Just curious, but are those tang plugs (trying to avoid using a certain term lol) actually threaded and attached to the tang or into the nut/finial, or are they decorative covers epoxied over the top of nut?

Great to see you sharing your work here again, John.
