Some of my recent work...

You consistently put together incredibly clean work. I feel fortunate to have been able to see and handle some of your knives in person-it’s a whole other level of appreciation for your work. Thanks for putting your pictures up here in one spot.

The THING about John's work is how simply he uses styling: Traditional lines and smart curves. NOTHING gregarious.

However, it's the attention to CRISP detail that makes you draw it in another two inches closer and go "Ahhhhhhh!"

Keep it up!

Thank you Jim! I really appreciate your comments.

Man those are clean, classy, and classic! They're all beautiful, but If I had to choose a favorite, I think it'd be the Ironwood fighter in post #13. The clay-less hamon on that thing is smokin' and it has a beautiful flow all around. I also like the "pinch" in the wood's grain on its right side, it adds some neat character and extra interest imho.

Just curious, but are those tang plugs (trying to avoid using a certain term lol) actually threaded and attached to the tang or into the nut/finial, or are they decorative covers epoxied over the top of nut?

Great to see you sharing your work here again, John.

Thank you Paul. The covers are epoxied in place.
