I don't often post pictures of my work here, but a recent thread made me think I should.
Here is one that I built for a customer. It's a copy of the Tonerini slip joint.
Interesting blade grind-hollow saber with swedge on the mark side, full flat ground on the rear.

The majority of my work is cutlery repair, but I build a few custom knives every now and then.
Everything pictured here is already sold-nothing is for sale.
I also design production knives.

Bill I have long lusted after one of your switch blades. Your style brings back a lot of memories :)

I sure liked those , Bill. Thanks for the show. For some reason I figured if you could do repairs you would be able to make good knives.
Thanks again !!!
Frank

I'll see if I can dig up some more later.
Thanks, all!

Thanks for sharing Bill. Its interesting to see the variety of different talents that some makers bring to the table.

I especially like that reproduction from your first set of pictures.

William,
Yeah about 75 years too late, but I have a lot of fun, anyway.
Most of my work (as you already know) is repair and restoration, so making custom knives is not something that I do a lot of.
It would be a lot easier to make knives, if that was all I did. I could set the shop up for it.
