some of the shop, more to come

Simmonsk,
It's an attached garage, which makes it nice when it's raining or snowing I just have to walk out into the shop.

Now for the important question!
The Tippmann Boss Stitcher, in my opinion is a great machine, I've owned mine for 3+ years.
Compare it to anything in it's price range, Most Sewing machines that can really sew 3/4" of leather, are 3 to 6 times the price. This machine does take a little getting used to, but once everything is adjusted, I can sew a sheath in about 1 minute, it used to take me an hour. Now, I bought this machine for sheath making, not as a leather sewing machine, so for me it's fantastic!!! That's my 2 cents.

Beautiful shop!
Is it part of an attached garage or is it a stand alone building?

Now for the important question. How do you like your stitcher? I usually only get negatives when I ask the community as a whole if the Tippmann is ok. How much use does it get? Would you do it again?
Thanks, and once again, a beautiful shop....Ken

Thanks for the info on the stitcher! Another reason to drive over to Pop's place.
My shop is in a 2 car garage also. Just have to get the vehicles cleared out.
Do you run a dehumidifier in there? Or did you come up with an outside AC unit? Code here will not allow a garage on the inside house AC.
Thanks, Ken

The garage is very well insulated, and I haven't found a need for a dehumidifier, but I am going to add a commerical A/c unit eventually. The biggest thing I did is add the big propane heater for winters, I keep it a 55 degrees all winter long and just turn it up when I go in the shop, best investment I've made so far.

I had the builder insulate the walls the same as the rest of the house. He thought I was nuts. I have an 11 ft ceiling and did the attic insulation myself.
I am thinking of adding a loft to increase working space. Should be cheap to do and any future owners can always use it for storage. Plans available in many books on remodeling kids bedrooms. Just think garage.
First I have to get a real garage to keep all the Garage Junk.
Thanks, Ken

By the way, in Georgia, it needs an AC or heat tolerance and a dehumidifier. In winter a hot motorcycle or a small kerosene heater does the trick.

Nice looking shop!!! I really like the variable speed grinders; particulary the horizontal one(Me Wants). Looks like you could make just about anything in there. Thanks for the tour!

You see know matter what we have we want more, I been looking for Delta toolmaker, for about 2 years and I never seen one in such nice shape as yours(me want)See me drooling:p
