I have listed here a couple of the old Carbon V Hudson Bay fixed blade knives from CS. Hickory handles, and with staining on the blades from carving up a turkey for Thanksgiving years ago. Razor sharp, thin slicing and cutting old school type camp/kitchen knives. One is the butcher(SPF) and the other a "green river" style clip point. Sheaths are leather with the plastic insert. Handles are solid. Been sharpened and as stated hair shaving sharp with a very good bite to the edge(s). BOTH SOLD.
Next is a dual set of Hultafors puuko style knives with very ergonomic handles. Plastic sheaths, high carbon steel blades on both. The larger of the two with the green handles shows some staining on the blade and frankly don't know how or why it happened. Maybe wasn't polished enough when made. They have been in my gun cabinet for several years since purchasing and have never been used or carried. Hultafors are kind of rare in the U.S. but not impossible to find. Sheath does not come apart. These are very nicely made work horse knives. Superbly ergonomic and actually probably all you would ever need in a survival pack for your knife needs. $50 for the package, pp or m.o.
Last is a Kellam puuko I bought back in the late 80's. Has been used alot by me back then. Notches in the handle were from two whitetails I took while bow hunting with one of my longbows and they got a little bit bigger than originally done. Found this in my old cat quiver. Never carried on a belt but lived in a cat quiver for years and years. Between this and an old Master Hunter never ever felt under knifed when out hunting or skinning deer, cleaning fish, or trimming branches and cordage. Razor sharp and I cleaned up the blade. SPF
Lastly is my CS "pimped" TrailHawk. Custom stained hickory handle, hammer pole, stripped head and blued. Non tapered hawk handle too. Has a slight egg shape back to front and is extremely comfortable, but pretty much the same diameter top to bottom. Razor sharp to boot and don't say the lightly at all. Just nicely done. I did not do the mods on it but bought it that way. The BUCK and MH in the pic are gone too. SPF
Shipping is $6.50 on each knife including the set, and is $10 on the Hawk. Keepem sharp and thanks
