The 1st one is of my Keeshond (Jaguar) by my 4 wheel Drive Quad Cab. 2nd Quad Cab and 3rd my backstairs. I have drfts over 4' high in the backyard.

Son that is snow, it happens every winter in this region.

Put that camera and shovel away and get back to work making knives. The snow will go away by itself in time.

this is the kinda snow we used to get when we were kids!
George...at least you can open your door...im waiting till my brother gets here to dig out my doors!

I have a 12 foot high bank in my front yard, and we're getting another 30 cm right now.... I don't have anywhere left to put it!!!!

This is what it looks like out in front of my house. It's still snowing and now the wind is up and making it drift. Out here in the rural part of the county. it blows off the crop fields and covers the roads as soon as the snow plow opens them up. :grumpy:

keep it , send it back , drink a lot of hot stuff ,look at it from shop window, if you have to get out in it duck tape the cuffs of your pants --you know snow snakes come out in the every type of weather
and you know the pain that they can inflect,

Cheesel I had to stick a small shovel out the dogie door to clear off the top deck of the porch to open my door, good thing I could open to the inside because the snow was up to the window.
When I open the door to let the dogs out Jag hit the dogie door and just stopped it was like hitting a wall. Jag was a snowplow for Ferrari. Ferrari was under my truck doing his thing and was so funny him trying to get back up the stairs.

It even happens here occasionally. I took these over a five minute period, a week or so ago.

Probably the same storm you have back east now.
You can see from the photo's, it went from mild, to heavy in just minutes.
But it's in the 70's now. :D

I would take a picture out of my front window, but all you would see would be green grass, happy trees, sunshine, but no snow :p :D .

You folks keep that white stuff! We got a tad of ice and maybe an inch of snow. When y'all get snow, you really get it!

We didn't get any snow after all (knock on wood). It just got friggin cold here and the snow is blowing like crazy. Roads won't stay clear for any time at all. Temp is 12 F right now, it was below zero when I got up and fed the horses. I'd like to go out to the shop and get some stuff done, but it feels pretty good sitting here in front of a space heater. And I'd have to walk past the fireplace which is going pretty good right now to get to the garage too.

I'm sick of winter :grumpy:

I grew up in Buffalo NY, moved outa there as soon as I could(good folks but that wheather, lousy job market too) The night before I moved we got 3 1/2 feet in 4 1/2 hours. I had to spend a good hour shovelling out the driveway, my car and trailer to get on the road. Never have looked back at it, only visit in the summer.
Good luck to all you guys. That looks awful.

Just when I've absolutely had enough of Cali, you guys post pics like this. I hate the traffic and stress, but it's 9:30 at night and I've got the windows open and am wearing shorts and a T shirt.

Sorry to hear you guys are getting such a pasting. Hopefully you have full pantries and plenty of warm clothes.

John
