Some pic's of the Blizzard of 2005

There are only a couple of things you can do when you are snowed in and work is one of them so you might as well take advantage of the storm and get to work.
 
Has anybody got pictures of the cape? From what I was hearing in the early stages of the storm, I half expected it to get washed away.

Does kinda look like spring Pete. I think I'll get the Kayak out and do some Ice Yaking !

This is a bit ridiculous, when I got to work this morn we snapped the chains on the truck tire and wrapped it around the axle so I have been laying on the ground in the snow with bolt cutters. My Border Collie went completely out of sight when she hopped out of the truck and the wind is still blowing 20mph. Its awful out here. Its 11:00 and its -10 here at the course with the wind.
 
Here's another picture to give a better idea of how much snow we have. This is my 4 yr old son standing in the path we had to shovel to get to the back door. He's about 3 1/2' tall.

we didn't get it to bad,, with in a week about 30"

I think it was last year we got 28" in march

IG you guys didn't get that much

it's just the guy next door shovels it back over the fence to you back and fourth
you can't count it 10 ten over you know you only got 4" blowing around :rolleyes:

Out here in Amherst I think we got about 18", but it's hard to tell with all the snow blowing around. Just a light dusting...

We got around 30" and they are say we are going to get around 4" tomorrow. :mad: This sucks the big one. :grumpy:
 
WGN showed a segment on the local news last night from out around Cape Cod. You folks really got blasted in eastern Mass.

We're due more snow tonight and then another possibly big storm late in the weekend.

I used to like snow a lot..... :(
