Some pics to tide me over?

Jim,is that an old 440c skinner?I do a fair share of processingnmmeat, both for others and myself.I'm in the process of getting my smokehouse done then i'll be smoking and curing a lot of game sausage also.

Yes, its a 3 line that I sent to Buck to reprofile to the Edge2K bevel. Cuts like no tomorrow! Nice pics of the Kalingas gentlemen! Thats a great knife!

Very nice, I love the burled wood. Here's a few of my Kalingas.

Wow, they are beautifull. I hope to buy an early Kalinga or the jaguar in the near future also. The custom ironwood is my first 401.

Boah --- great Collections, Plumber and Zerot!!!

I like the Kalingas a lot. But I have only three of them.
The interesting one is the readhead in the middle.

Best,
Haebbie

Beautiful knives, i see a pointed guard, slightly different shaped blade, but maybe iam missing something, what makes the knife in the middle extra special?

Greetings Friso

Thank you, Friso for your answer. "Extra Special" is too much for the middle one.
It has scales made of burgundy micarta that was not used very often for these knifes.
This makes the redhead a few more interesting in comparison to the other two. But
there's no comparison to your wonderful collection.

Best,
Haebbie

Thanks Haebbie, i think the Kalinga's you own are a great start for a beautiful collection. There are a lot Kalinga variations and the red burgundy micarta (late 70's) is one of many that is still missing in my collection.

Sorry to intrude, but I have a Kalinga related question and rather than starting a new one, this thread seemed appropriate for this kind of an inquiry.
Few years ago I bought one on a whim, and it doesn't fit in my collection, which is mostly Benchmade and Kershaw folders. I'm thinking about putting it on the selling block, but have no clue of its current market value. Could one of you, Buck Gurus school me in this regard? Here are some pics:

It spend it's entire life in a box with a paper sleeve over the blade. Sheath was stored right next to it, wrapped in a styrofoam sheet.
If I'm not mistaken the handle is Ironwood Burl.

Thanks in advance for any help :)
