Some Pictures Of The 2010 All Forged Expo In San Antonio.

Good photos and much appreciated. Who are those people? Is that handsome bald guy really Nick Wheeler? Who finally got drawn for his one knife?

I'm glad you all like the pictures! It was a pleasure taking them for you.

I am 99% sure that there will not be a show in 2011. It will be in 2012 next.

Thanks for looking.

Actually I believe Nick had three or four knives that he sold. I took pictures of a few others he had they just didn't come out very good so I just posted the picture of that one knife. He had an awesome integral from the collection of Jim Cooper also that was very nice!

Hey Bruce, Nick had a table full. Hardly had room for his business cards. Also had three lucky winners in three different drawings. That boy is literally a knife factory!!! Kevin Jones, Roger Pinnock and Joe Paranee are all new owners of Nick Wheeler goodness, and two of those three are here in the shop with me now as I type awaiting a fitting of new leather. The third already had it's new sheath delivered the day of the show.

Nick was wearing his hair a little bit longer this year. I almost didn't recognize him.:D

Thanks Kyle - enjoyed it. :)

Say Nick, when did you get all fat and bald??? Angi is way too hot for you :p

Thanks, this thread made my day -- especially since Tommy put that stag and Spanish notch Bowie in the mail to me today! Just enough to tide me over until it gets here ... :D

Thanks for the pics, lots of great looking knives. It's also nice to see a pic of the knife, although faintly, I bought sight unseen:cool::thumbup::)

Congrats - that's a beautiful bowie by a very talented maker. And the sheath that goes with it is  .

I'm drumming my fingers on the desk here. Believe me, I have NOT seen this piece since 2 years ago in rough form. What a story it will tell....

Thanks again!

Bald or not, Nick knows how to smile. THAT'S what the girls like. :D

Thanks for posting these Kyle, it was nice visiting with you and your family again. One question though, what kinda camera was that you got me and Bill Burke on the same day and the camera still works, must be a good one. :D

Dang, thought that was J.Knight. Nick is bald, better keep that girl, will be harder to get another :D

Kyle thanks for the photos. Been little talk about the show on these forums.

I'd love to get in on the all the bald-Nick kidding (you guys crack me up!) but since he has more hair than I do..... :o Besides, like most guys, I'd trade a hottie on my arm for hair on my head any day. In fact, I made that trade many moons ago - no regrets. ;)

Very nice pics Kyle. Thanks for posting them. A LOT of awesome knives there for sure!!

Glad I have thick skin (you can see it right on top of my head though! ;) ) LMAO... just kidding. I did mention to Angi that I wasn't real sure why folks liked to pick on my appearance so much when knifemakers by nature aren't the most photogenic bunch... but I guess when you walk into a show at a lean 200 with a full head of hair for years and then walk into one at a sloppy 250 with a bald head, people will notice! ;)

I wanted to add some shots to Kyle's great thread to show the fine folks that haven't been to the show some of the things they can see OUTSIDE :)

Here's a fraction of a fantastic water feature right near the base of the Tower of the Americas (this is a very close cousin to my "local" Seattle Space Needle) This water feature is really something in person... it sprawls out over a really large area and is even more pretty at night!

Here's our view from the 10th floor of the Sheraton Gunter right before sun-set! I'm not a city kid at all, but I sure get a kick out of a view like this! :)

The night-time view from the Tower of the Americas.... WHOA--- it is amazing up there. I've been to the top of the Space Needle many times, and it has an amazing view.... but as many of you know this area of Texas is pretty darn flat and Washington is the furthest thing from... So you can see SOOOOOOO FARRRRRRRR in all directions around the Tower. Definitely worth the $11 or $12 per person to see this!!!

Here's some hot girl that's waaaaaay too nice and waaaaaay to attractive to be dating a fat, bald, knife maker! :foot: :p
