Some questions about 110s

I had an auto that was made by the outfit in post 10. It came out of an estate sale. The bolsters were engraved, and the action was quite crisp. I could not take it out of the house because autos are illegal in Michigan. You can own them, but you can't carry them. I wound up selling it because it had quite a limited use. If you live in a state that allows autos, knock yourself out. What's really odd, I have a concealed weapons license but cannot carry a switchblade.

TI,,,are you sure you don't have post 10 and post 11 mixed up. There are no identifiers on the knife in post 10.

Thanks Dave and Pack Rat....True the source must always be considered......I guess since I did not see anyone with a "normal" response to my post and this one seemed to be accepted much better, I was wondering why....I thought the two bladed version was really different and would have been commented on by a few....

Yea the auto questions were just kinda me being curious not leagal to carry here either. So I'm gonna have tp stick with the manual opening one

Tom, typically what happens here when there are little or no comments, none of us have hands on experience. So comments are few.

There have been a few two bladed auto's talked about in the past, but those are rare.

Someone here has one, I believe, made out of one of the 110/112 Transition knives (2004 to 2005). Seems I remember a post about it year or so back.

Might try a search on autos.

I have had a benchmade open in my pocket, but was abnormal circumstances, which I can't recall, but was sort of anticipating it at the time. However my eyes did become as large as a silver dollar.

Typically though I think the confinement of the pocket will in most cases damper the opening. Maybe not as much on the 110 as that is a large blade it has to flip open.

If there were only a few 110's I might would agree it could be sacriligeous to alter it. But on the same token if that is your favorite style of knife, why would one want an automatic of a different brand.
