Some random pics of the collection - knives on display.

Killer! Is that the Kyle Royer "Spirit of the West" bowie in there? Stuart's tanto is quite a piece of work, too! Of course, they all are...

Wow I missed all this while at work. GREAT collection. I always knew you had a great eye and thats why I wanted to see them all together finally. Lighting doesn't matter, we can all probably imagine how great this looks in person. Thanks for posting this!

Jeff- do it! Displaying my knives has completely enhanced the hobby for me.

And to think, I get to view these pieces in person periodically when Roger comes for a visit. Hope he will be by again soon as there are a few I have not seen before. Love the display with the JW Bowie. Good job Roger!

What you named as "Random pics" Roger, are actually beautiful displays
of the knives you love and own, and these are truly exquisite!!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

You've got great taste in steel Roger! LOTS of really beautiful work you've got there

Thanks gents.

Jeff - I agree with Jon - you will enjoy your knives a lot more if you have at least some of them on display. Murray has probably the most extensive in-house display of knives I have ever seen - and he combines the aesthetics of given groups of knves with other art work. That's an ideal, of course, but just having something on a stand and a few in a display case makes me feel like I am getting more of my money's worth than if they were all tucked away in a dark safe.

Salem - yes, that is the Kyle Royer bowie that was a finalist in last year's Best Bowie competition.

thegeek - Mike is right (assuming we are both talking about the knife with a laminated blade and very dropped Koa handle) - that's a Burt Foster Persian Fighter:

Thank you for sharing, Roger. Boomin' collection with so many wonderful pieces. I spent a long time examining the array of fine handles alone.

AWESOME display Roger. You have EXCELLENT taste in knives and the collection illustrates that VERY well!

Thanks for showing them.

Peter

Nice to see, Roger! A wonderful collection, and I like the display choices. As Russ mentioned, fun to go through and try to name the maker. Good stuff.

If there was a emoticon for mouth watering, I would be using it. That is sweet.

Thanks my man - it is also fast and wonderfully balanced for such a big (11") blade. The Koa was a gift from my buddy and Koa-freak BillF. It was a big block, and Burt put it to good use with this dramatic handle.
