Here are some really nice Musk ox and interior mammoth ivory pieces. The musk ox was cut in Jan. so it will need some more time to cure before you use it. The mammoth ivory has been cured for over a year. It is best if they acclimate to your climate before using, two months should be fine . I am happy to answer any questions about the stuff or working with it. It is guaranteed to be legal and naturally colored, happiness is guaranteed, if you find you can't use it when you get it in your hands, return it for your purchase price back, please do that within seven days. I take all the normal forms of payment, Paypal, checks, or credit cards over the phone. The prices shown will be plus shipping and insurance, I ship using USPS flat rate shipping where I can, I ship anywhere it is legal and charge only the actual shipping charges. Kamakanui here. Just received the #8 ivory scales. Oh so very nice. The grain is gorgeous.

I love the smell of fresh cut ivory.

I have never used Musk, those look very tempting! How thick are the three pieces and what thickness would you guesstamate that they would be after a book match cut and clean up?

Hi Laurence, No. 3 is 1 3/16 thick. No.s 4 and 5 are 1 inch thick. After the saw cut they should clean-up at 1/2" and just under 3/8" respectively. Talk to you later, Mark
 
Here's how the #8 scales will be used. I did not make the knife. I will use the curved piece of ivory for the guard. The chocolate brown(!) ivory will add some color detail.
