Here are some recent flea-market acquisitions. Theres nothing very exciting there, so Ive not mentioned or photographed them previously, but thought yall might like a look.
First, 3 Richards knives. I come across far more of these knives than any other, and dont often buy them. The spear-point is by far the most common pattern, but this one is in good condition and appears to have been carried very little if at all. I bought the sheepsfoot a couple of months ago, mainly because Ive never seen another Richards knife quite like it. Its also in very good nick. The wee bottle knife looks like it could have come out of a Christmas cracker!

An even more motley collection! The hawkbill with the broken tip I only picked up a few hours ago. Its made by George Wostenholm. Its clearly seen a lot of use and abuse, and as well as the broken tip, it has considerable side to side blade play, and gaps all over the place. The pen above it is an Abram Brooksbank, in stainless. On the pile side, the end of one of the covers has broken, and the blade has play. The other pen is by H Fisher of Sheffield and is also marked Ferrodor, it has wrap-around steel covers with an internal spring. Id taken the last knife to be one of the cheap novelty knives which some Sheffield firms turned out in the years of their decline, but in fact it is marked foreign.

Ill keep looking!
