Some recent work.

John, I think back several years ago when we first met each other at the Blade show in Atlanta. At that time you were in awe of Karen Shook's work with raw hide, and a couple of other period makers that I don't remember.

Fast forward to today and look at you now. WOW!

You are now that person that the new guys (and girls) seek to emulate.

Paul

Great perspective, Paul.

I agree! I applaud anyone who creates their own style and John has definitely done that.

All my best.

Thanks so much for the compliments and support Paul, Roger and Gary, and of course everyone else too!Coming in behind Daniel and Karen and trying to establish not only my own style but a name for myself as well was not an easy task but somehow through lots of hard work and a few sleepless nights I was able to do just that, but none of it would have been possible without the support of the great collectors and fans that kept me pushing to do the best work I could!!

Hi John I just wanted to say that I really like your work and have been a fan since I started "trying" to make knives and spent more hours than I care to admit looking at custom knife photos.

I also really admire your ability to both make fantastic pieces but also be unique. Every piece or yours I've seen, whether a sheath or knife, the author is easily recognizable. You remind me of Virgil England in this regard. Thanks for sharing
