Some recent works

I have come to expect nothing less from you, my friend!

I still treasure the relatively "simple" knife that you made
in 2005 for "The Art of Modern Custom Knifemaking"!!
To me that knife is a piece of your knifemaking history. Just look
at what you are doing now....
Collectors actually fight to get one of your amazing Damascus
Full Integrals.... :)

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

Thank you guys, I really appreciate your support. David, for me, every knife I had pictured in your books was a real honor.

All the best!

It's all a feast for the eyes. The hunting sword is truly something special..and I also love the lines on the fighter. You are an inspiration and I always have you in my thoughts when I have the internal debate on whether or not I should go for 'easy' or 'beautiful'. Nothing you do is easy. And it's work like this that pushes and pushes and pushes me.

Thanks Rodrigo!

Here, for those who have not seen my 3rd book on Custom Knives,
"The Art of Custom Knifemaking" (2006), is Rodrigo's two page
WIP on forging the knife displayed in the book.

This book presents 100 condensed custom knifemaking and knife-related
processes, among them making FOLDERS, FIXED BLADES, DAMASCUS,
MOCUME, SCRIMSHAW, ENGRAVING and SHEATHS...

Altogether more than 1600 original photographs!!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

p.s. Look at what extraordinary talent and 6 years have done to Rodrigo...
His 2005 knife (below) and his 2011 amazing knife-art as shown in this Thread.......

Hello Guys. Thank you for all the kind comments. David, I keep all your books with great joy, I have them all (some of them you donated to my school), I always tell the students to wash the hands and clean the table before they read them!

All the best!
