Thinning out the herd due to changing tastes.
First, a Rex 45 Para 3 with skinny grey G10 scales. The blade was from a lightweight model, which I swapped with a Maxamet model. The blade has been given a forced patina with Insta Blak and the spine has been shaved down a slight bit and rounded. Great action, blade favors the show side a bit. Has black hardware. $165.SOLD Comes with box.

Next up, a pair of Sharp Dressed Knives natural micarta scales. I gave them the skinny mod as well. They’ve been used and carried. $50 SOLD by themselves, or take the Para 3 and scales for $200.

Next knife, a PM2 in 10V, which I also gave a forced patina with Insta Blak. Used and carried for a bit. Has been sharpened. Comes with a black clip and black clip screws. $170 shipped. Comes with box. Sold.

If you think the PM2 isn’t hefty enough, deck it out with some RGT titanium scales. I don’t think they’ve ever been used. I put them on the 10V for a minute and decided they weren’t up my alley. $100 by themselves, or take the PM2 and scales for $250.

Last up, a modded user Sage 2. The blade and scales have been stonewashed, and the clip was replaced with the clip from a Milwaukee utility knife. $100 shipped. Sold

No trades at the moment.

I’ll take the PM2 if still available. PM me with payment details and I’ll settle up.

I'm really curious on your method for the forced patina.. also, GLWS :)
Thanks! I use EPI Insta Blak diluted with warm water. I’ll dip the blade in the solution for a few minutes and “seal” it with EPI E Tec. I’m not sure if it’s true patina or a form of black oxide, since I don’t leave it long enough to get black.

I'm a serious potential buyer for the micarta skinny mod scales. Just have a question or two.

I can ask here or you can email me at Carson (dot) Jarnagin (at) gmail (dot) com
