Hey Guyon, or anyone experienced, what do you think of the standard thickness vs the HO blades for pure chopping power in wood? Does the weight really aid that much on a similar length blade?

I think so. There's considerably more momentum with a HOG FSH than with a regular FSH, and a MOASH has even more momentum. My MOASH is heavy, actually heavier than a FBM-CG.

The trade-off though is that the thicker blades don't bite quite as deeply into wood (compared to a narrower blade) because of their thickness. Even so, I like the way the MOASH chops with the extra weight.
