SOG, ENZO, and BUSSE

Gene,

That is the coolest hawk I have ever seen!

Details, please!

-- FLIX

FLIX, the hawk is a SOG Fusion..a hawk that got some pretty bad press after its release..it used to have a wood handle..SOG swapped the handle to composite..and I love it...
I have said some tough things about hawks here on the forums, but honestly, I like them for thier ease of carry. They dont replace an AXE, but they can chop, as evident in the pics.
I just got the ENZO last week. I LOVE it, it is alot of knife for the money. It is already getting a nice patina..I have been using it in the kitchen and the field, and it cuts equally as well in both places. I will have to take some pics next time I am slicing translucent onion and garlic for the pot. I plan on getting a couple sets and putting them together with some different handle materials..maybe as gifts. Gene

I know they are sold on Bens Backwoods (online store).

I bought it second hand..Tarmix..what steel is this:D?

Gene, I see you bought the other Enzo Tarmix had...I got the kit he put together that had wood scales. It's O1 with a scandi. Probably one of the best values in a knife I have ever received.
Used the heck out of it carving spoons and banging on it, then stropped it back to shaving sharp within minutes.

That Busse looks like a brute!

sweet looking hawk dude. as for the enzo, i just got one, and i took it out. wood handles, 0-1 stlle, adn for under 80 buxks? what a steal man. how is the micarta?
