Complaint Some type of redirect software hiding on the forum

Hi technical mods,

I've been suddenly automatically redirected from Bladeforums repeatedly over the last few weeks to some website that claims my Mac is infected with multiple viruses and I need them to scan my computer. This is a well known scam and it must be planted in some post on the Bladeforums site. My mac isn't infected with any viruses.

Hopefully you guys and find and eliminate this from Bladeforums.
 
If you get a malicious ad, please give as much information as you can about it. Page you were on, and the following info:
  • GEO location of the user seeing the problem
  • IP of the user seeing the problem
  • Type of device used
  • Please provide detailed information - are you using desktop/laptop, phone or tablet. If it is phone or tablet, what OS is it running?
  • Browser used required - e.g. Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Opera
  • Which domain calls the malicious ad
  • URL, target or name of the file which causes the problem
  • Problem description required
  • You can also attach a screenshot of the issue
