I've been out of the shop for about a month with back trouble, so I need to get a bit of extra funds flowing in while I get caught up on stuff. I recently cleaned out my wood stash, and seperated out some pieces that were "duplicates" or I already had plenty of stock of.
First up is a couple of very nice K&G stabilized curly koa handle blocks. They have a nice curl figure that is stronger in person than in photos. These have strong slightly unusual chatoyance that flashes from dark to light as you rotate them.
I'd like $40 for the small one, $45 for the large one, or $75 for both shipped.
Small: 4.63 x 1.82 x .92
large: 4.86 x 1.84 x .94
Next up I have a set of super high grade curly maple and curly walnut. These are both A+ sets. These are acrylic stabilized but I'm not sure of the source.
$25 each or $45 for both.
Maple: 4.9 x .37 x 1.52
walnut: 4.9 x .33 x 1.4
Next up, a couple sets of yellow dyed and stabilized buckeye burl. I did these myself. The quality of the stabilizing is excellent. They had a large weight increase, do no absorb water.
Left: 4.45 x 1.75 x .35
right: 4.35 x 1.82 x .295
Id like $20 each or $35 for the pair.
Last up I have this end cut lot. These would be terrific for folders, kiridashis, edcs, anything of that sort. All pieces besides the ebony are K&G stabilized.
The pieces are saw cut from blocks, so the thickness numbers I give will be what you end up with after sanding flat and uniform thickness (basically minimum guaranteed thickness).
Left to right
Box Elder 1: 5.23 x 1.61 x .41
Box Elder 2: 5.14 x 1.63 x .44
Buckeye 1: 5.19 x 1.65 x .33
The two on the right are thin pieces thrown in as freebies. They'd probably work nicely for traditional folder scales, that type of thing. The box elder is .17 thick before cleanup, the buckeye is .21 thick before cleanup.
Curly walnut: 5.07 x 1.67 x .24
Maccassar Ebony: 2.98 x 2.75 x .37 and 1.8 x 3.7 x .2
I'd like $25 for the lot.
