Not really a collection shot, more of a look back at some very different knives that have passed through my hands at Noblie over the years.
Some of these I made myself. Some started from my sketch or design idea. Some came through as work from other makers or collaborations. That’s probably what I like about this photo most — there isn’t one single style here. Art knives, Damascus fixed blades, engraved pieces, big sculpted handles, folders, and a few designs that sit somewhere between a knife and a small sculpture.
The folder on the far right is from Herman Knives. I have to give them credit — they are doing very good work. Their fit, finishing, machining, and general refinement seem to get better every year.
Just thought I’d share the lineup. A pretty good reminder of how wide the custom knife world can be.
