I went out in the woods 3 times this past week... good weather, back feeling great... why not..?

I hit 3 different trails about ~17 miles from the house... At The Weldon Spring Conservation Area.

That fireplace looks to be in amazing repair. What's the story with the homestead that it belongs to?

Guys... I have no clue on either. This was my first time walking in that area. I do know that around WW II the government took something like 15,000 acres for building munitions. I do know that the area is named after Mr. Weldon (circa late 1700's). Lewis and Clark also came through this area.
