Can you tell us what you do for a day job? Do you have any training in the arts?

Your work is very nice, period. It is even more impressive that you have such a refined and defined style within two years of beginning knifemaking. Your work is stylish and contemporary with good fit and finish. You will no doubt tweak your designs as you gain experience in time. It will be fun to see how your pieces evolve as you grow.

No training in arts whatsoever. I've been a car mech for the past 16 years. I guess knifemaking came to me as a mid-life crisis . Some sort of itch that I needed to scratch. You know, make stuff that will remain after you're gone...
