I spent many younger years as a boy scout. Having at the least a SAK or equivalent was implicitly mandatory. Got used to carry my own tools... old habits die hard....

Not to be arguementative but what does he need a Rolex or even a Citizen EcoDrive for. Timex's RULE,I mean,Timex's are good watches.He could use a decent pocketknife.

Handling dozens of watches per day, I would take almost anything over a Timex. Timex is the only brand of watch I know that just breaks out of the blue, for no reason, before the first battery is even dead.
