Greetings All,
We have had some problems lately with orders going to the Asian area of the world. We don't typically do business out of the country, but do so on certain occasions at our discretion.
I don't know specifically which transaction is at question, but I can give you an example of a few without mentioning names.
1. Sometimes customers order knives that don't make it through their customs department easily, or at all.
Sometimes an accident happens in charging when customers order multiple orders and want to change the contents of their orders over and over before they get shipped. Sometimes backorders are involved.
We don't give refunds unless products have been discontinued, or the customer asks for a refund. For some reason, most overseas customers never ask for a refund, they just do chargebacks, which are more work for them and harder on us.
Sometimes things just go wrong folks. We always strive to make it right in the end. We'll get your products to you if humanly possible, or refund you if not.
Sometimes, and I'm dealing with this one now, customer places an order, then comes back a day or two later wanting a price match. We don't do price negotiations after the order has been placed. The customer's order gets shipped Air Mail, which is what they wanted. A couple of weeks later, some of it comes back to us. We reship at our own expense. Customer emails and states that they are angry for not getting products and will do chargeback and post our bad business to the forums, without giving us a chance first to either refund them, or make it right in some other way.
When current overseas business is concluded to everyone's satisfaction, we will no longer service orders out of the U.S. except for long standing customers at our discretion.
We love all our customers though and are thankful for all here,
John
