Man, talk like that will get your Hog card pulled. A Hog has to know the difference between a Rye, a Bourbon, and a Scotch... :-)

Rye Whiskey is made from a fermented mash containing at least 51% rye. It must be produced at no more than 160 proof and aged in new, charred oak barrels for at least two years to be designated "straight."

Bourbon - According to Federal regulations, for an American whiskey to be labeled as bourbon it must be made from a mash containing between 51% and 79% corn.

Scotch - Any whisky made is Scotland :-)

oh man, slap he hard, and straighten me up!;):D

Its a great choice as far as Rye's go:thumbup::D

It's OK. Next week I will be back in Canada for a short trip and drinking this.

It's as close to Scotch as you can get, produced in the province called New Scotland with a complete set of distillery equipment brought in from Scotland, yet they cannot call it Scotch.

But it sure is good... :D
