Somebody needs to get busy. Despite being banned for 4 years Liu Kang is still the top seller.

Thanks Ryker,
Im ok with not being Top Seller lol now, Top Buyer is a whole other story lol

Swoopmaster is the top seller, It seems the only ones that complain about Lui Kang are the guys that hog the exchange and resell way overpriced. They got a taste of their own medicine perhaps.....Im actually not sure where this post is suppose to go, I think your calling someone out?

I hope that if you had been here when Dan was doing his slimy best to screw over anyone he could, you would have taken offense too. Now that he is gone, who cares?
So why is there a post about a banned member.....should I join in and kick this dead horse while he's down and cant defend. Sorry I got dragged into this, I wasnt sure. I will wait till I can personally meet this guy

I don't get it...like I said there are popular outspoken members that hog the the exchange, then resell the same blade for more. Why is Liu Kang charging too much for shipping such an issue. Why is he still allowed to sell on bladeforums....Is it because hes not part of the Busse click of second hand marketing, that hes getting smoked out. Which seems to be the only way to buy now a days? Why is a thread personally calling out a Bladeforums member even allowed?

He is a banned member here thanks to the crap he has pulled over the years, in fact I think he has been banned here under several names mate, so no one is "calling out a BF member" as such. Dan (and yes some others) have made their own bed, now they get to lay in it.

I get it now, got a little confusingo_O....Lets Drink!

I said nothing to put down Liu Kang. However, he's apparently been banned from ebay as well and is selling his knives under the name Bill gates

Hahaha...damned if he ain't! It's a dead giveaway because he's still got that stupid-ass red backdrop.

Wonder what he did to get the hammer? Surely eBay's gotta know that's his new alias.

What I don't understand is how the guy could have almost 500 positive reviews and seemed to be an "honest flipper" :poop: lol, and was obviously making good money and then all of a sudden he started screwing ppl over and ultimately got himself banned. Why screw up a good thing? What changed? & if he was doing it all along, then why all the positive feedback until the end?

Idk wasn't around then. I have heard he used to go to blade shows and have several employees the first in line and they whould Sweep up armloads of custom shop knives to buy before anyone else got a shot.

Over the last 15 years??? I am guessing. I have bought and sold knives with him and never had a problem. The last knife I bought from him years ago on Ebay, he was mad I did not buy it on the side as he had to pay fees. I explained to him I had a few hundred in Ebay Bucks from purchasing some audio gear and he still was like telling me it was better for me to buy outside of Ebay. I am sure that is why he got banned from Ebay, he is always looking to fuck the system. It is in his DNA and will never change. If he had invested all that money he has in inventory in Apple stocks he would be a millionaire instead of a knife flipper....

That said, he never did me wrong.

What I don't understand is how the guy could have almost 500 positive reviews ...

It's a combination of things:
1. He HAS delivered the goods to a lot of customers, albeit at seriously inflated prices and often times in conditions far below what he advertised.
2. Fear of retaliatory negative feedback, so buyers leave positive or nothing at all
3. Trying to convince yourself that you really got a good deal, so you leave positive feedback to further the pipe dream

But after merely inquiring about the finish and some dimensions on a HG55 he had up for auction on ebay, and getting the hard sell routine, and him begging to take it outside ebay, offering a "discount" for F&F transfer-- and I didn't even inquire about purchase-- I got that slimy vibe right off....wtf!

I confided in a couple brothers here about my experience w/him and heard some first hand accounts of how he SEVERLY took advantage of some truly defenseless knife afi's-- I set my mind against EVER doing a deal with this shark <my apologies to sharks everywhere> directly or indirectly.

There's a voluminous thread about him in GB&U.
