Someone need to get busy selling

Here's my opinion. I haven't been around too long but long enough to hear things and do some reading of my own. It's time to let it go guys. I've been right there with the him in the trough at BladeShow for a few years now. I've quickly grabbed a few he wanted and I've handed him knives that he politely asked to see. I've seen the Busse Crew be very obviously pleasant, respectful and thankful for his business. This includes everyone, Jerry, Dan, Garth and so on. If they don't have a problem with the guy that says a lot to me.

This year I heard him somewhat jokingly make a comment that we'd all probably wish he would die and I was instantly ashamed. That isn't the group of people I've grown to like in the Busse forum and we should all just let it go.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about the past. Regardless of what happened he isn't allowed here anymore and there really isn't any reason for these threads to continue to come up. I feel like it's about jealousy now because he buys so many knives. I'm a firm believer that he can buy whatever he wants and judging by his eBay prices he doesn't seem to be in any hurry to sell.

Let it go guys.

I dont think this would stop me from buying from him a knife i really wanted, too bad even He doesn't have one lol BOSC ID

Again, this thread is not about him, it's about how no on e else comes close to his numbers even though he's been gone 3 years

LK's biggest problem is that he takes advantage of people, and he cheats. He will send you a scratched knife or a broken tip without disclosing it, and then try to blame it on you or the post office IF you notice.
Then he will tell you that he has Lots of money and that should tell you he is honest;) because people with lots of money are honest.

I do not think he trys to sell that many compared to his actual inventory, and they may be a tax write off if they don't sell.

He has over 30 MOAB's that he had listed at one time. He had to take some down to make them appear rarer than they are.

He has so many, that he has to be careful not to hurt his own sales.

He really is dis-honest by nature so cross all your T's and dot all your i's if you ever have to deal with him.

My personal experience is that he is a liar. Lied to me over the phone when he was initially building his inventory. The gist of the conversation was "a poor guy like me will never experience an awesome Busse knife unless you cut me a deal." So I sold a highly coveted FSH to him at cost, probably losing money on shipping expenses, for him to turn around and sell it for around a $300.00 profit if I recall correctly. caveat emptor

lol no. Sellers on here need to get busy so somebody sells more than LK thatsthe point.

Jerry is fine. Slow roasted pork is the sweetest and juciest

I think threads like.this serve an important function. They serve as an invaluable resource to new folks that not only are there unscrupulous sellers (and who they are) but the.sort of behavior those sellers have had in the past.

YES yes caveat emptor and all that but I for one will share knowledge whenever I can.

I can agree. When I first posted that I was a bussie newbie I had at least 3 back channel unsolicited offers for "great deals"

Sums up the reputation of the person in question, doesn't it?

I bought a couple knives from him. He bought some from me. I found him to be honest. He never tried to screw me. I'm sure he was not that way with everyone but he was cool with me

Yes, just like how a psychopath won't murder every single person, Liu Kang will not mess with every single transaction.
Some people do a good job faking it until you find their true "unscrupulous" colors.

Purpose of a thread like this? Well, for me being new it helps me to basically always watch the details- I think most people are happy with being fair and shouldn't expect more than that. I've followed this, I'm not unfamiliar with these types of forum threads, another hobby of mine I've been involved with for years, it's the same thing there as here or anywhere else- all kinds of different people and not everyone is likable or for that matter wants to be. i'm a firm believe that you shouldn't sugar coat it but you also better be able to back it up if you make a claim or your cred goes in the crapper~ I sell for a living and I'm dealing a top shelf D-bag right now but my summary is this- it's the 98% of the good people you meet that make up for the 2% of bottom feeders-

fyi~ thanks to awesome CatD - I'm holding my first Busse knife right now, I couldn't be happier to get that first one out of the way and it happened because of this place- not everyone is going to be as awesome to deal with.
