And still have two Ben Hogans supposed to be here tommorw.

LOL!
Don't worry Paul, I'm right behind you. It will take me a solid day just to take pics of all the ones I have picked up since last summer. :D

I know of some good places in Golden Colorado, and in Oregon. Also a stay at Plaza Cutlery in CA would be a big help.

This summer once i start working full time again, i have a feeling im going to be like that also.

Ill sponsor you my brother!! First step is to send all but one knife to me for safe keeping during this phase, more instructions will follow after step one is complete :D

You really have to block BF from your computer if you even want a chance at recovering.

When you find yourself crusing the online sites just repeat this mantra, "The internet is for porn..."

Or you could go down to the range...

I channelled my knife-purchasing addiction into another addiction: sharpening all those new knives. Running out of cash will speed the transition significantly. :D

Oh, good grief - the past two months have been just like that. :p My wife just laughs now.

Hey blaine I forgot to tell you I lost the #8 opinel to my wife. She LOVES it! So I ordered the 10 pc set one of each size as well as an ebony slim # 8 and a pair of pairing knives. You sir are an enabler LOL

That's funny! Did you get to try it all? After using my No. 8, my wife wanted one, as well, so now she her own. I also recently got a pair of their Inox paring knives since we needed some better prep knives in the kitchen.

I haven't tried any of the slim knives. I'd love to hear what you think when you get it. And pics, too!

Unlike drugs n booze, after a knife spending bender, the next day, you will have the knives.

It came in the mail, I opened it, it was pretty sharp but not hair poppin so I ran it over the steel 30 seconds and it was good to go. I looked around for something to cut. Went to the kitchen it was a little early for supper but what the heck. I'm in there happily going to town on some potatoes, carrots and onions. And the wife walks in and says what are you doing. I say I just got this new knife and I was giving it a test drive. She says let me see it ( that doesn't happen very often) so I hand it over. Poof it's hers now! So yes I got to use it for maybe five minutes lol

If there's a rehab center for it, you've found the opposite of it!

Try not using the Internet at all for an entire week. Don't read book or magazines about knives, don't go to knife stores. Just one week. Try that and see if it helps.

I'm too weak to make it a week! I'm about to go to bed I think I can make it for six or 7 hours as long as knife dreams don't count.

You're out of control Paul! :D I was telling ScruffUK a few months back that I'm going to try to buy less knives...hasn't really worked! :D

I think you've mistakenly applied "immersion therapy" to your condition. It seems like your addiction might just get worse!

Yes, it involves giving away your entire collection aka Cold Turkey!:barf:

Fancy that? I thought not.....:D:thumbup:
